Bustarfell Museum and Café Croft have now be opened. We welcome you to the Museum to look at the heritage of Vopnafjörður and/or have a good cup of coffee and a cake with it. It is open from 10 a´clock in the morning to 18 a´clock in the afternoon.
We encourage you to look at our event programme for the summer. There you can see things like a Cake buffet, Hikingtours, Museumsday, Farmersday and more.
Groups can order meals as you can see on this webside. Please contact us if you are interested.

Well, summer is now upon us, and we at Bustarfell, look forward to the opening on June 10th. We are very excited and especially looking forward to the following big events : Museum Day July 11th, Farmers Day August 22nd Various other events will take place throughout the summer such as regular Saturday walks/tours, Grandmother/Amma visits with her children & most Sundays guests will be able to taste our traditional buffet style spread of delicious kaffi, home baked sweets & goods in our cozy country style Cafe.
We are continously updating our website, please check back often for updates. There will be additions of photos, weekly such as descriptions /stories & the bustarfell families use of many of the beautiful antiques & vintage items We thank you for your patience, in advance.
The historical sepia tone portrait & landscape photos are reminicient of "yesteryear" and we look forward to taking you back in time , many decades, many generations with these rare & wonderful reflections of the past.
