Bustarfell Museum

Bustarfell Museum is in Hofsárdalur, Vopnafjörður, which is on the north-east coast of Iceland.

The Museum is open from June 10th to September 10th, every year, between 10:00 and 18:00.

Beside the Museum is a Café, the Croft-Café.

A butterstamp and a buttermoulder

This butterstamp has the number 3118.  Before dairy farmers co-operative was established, farmers could deposit butter into the co-operative society of Vopnafjöður.  Every farm had its own numer which they printed on the butter.  Elín Methúsalemsdóttir gave Bustarfell Museum this  piece.
